The Siberian cat is one of the oldest natural cat breeds, originating in the forests of Russia hundreds of years ago. These cats are known for their strong build, luxurious triple coat, and gentle personality. Siberians are intelligent, playful, and very people-oriented. Many families are drawn to the breed not only for its beauty, but also for its affectionate temperament and the strong bonds Siberians form with their owners.
At Velvet Paw Siberians, our cats live with us in our home as part of the family. We believe that kittens raised in a loving environment grow into the best companions. From their first days of life, our kittens are surrounded by everyday household sounds, gentle handling, and plenty of attention. This early socialization helps them become confident, friendly, and well-adjusted when they join their new families.
